Maple and the Moonlight Snow Adventure

Maple loved snowy nights. She always peeked out her window before bed to watch the world sparkle. But tonight, she saw something strange—a tiny gray shape struggling in the deep snow.

Throwing on her boots, she ran outside. “Hello?” she called, but the wind swallowed her voice. Then, a soft whimper. Maple dropped to her knees and found a shivering wolf pup, barely moving.

She scooped it up and whispered, “I’ve got you.” But the snowstorm thickened, and she couldn’t see her house anymore. She hugged the pup close. “We’ll find our way back together.”

Suddenly, a howl echoed through the trees. More wolves! Maple’s heart pounded as glowing eyes appeared in the distance. But instead of fear, she felt something else—hope. She stepped forward. “You’re looking for him, aren’t you?”

The biggest wolf, its fur silver under the moonlight, nodded. Maple carefully placed the pup down. The mother wolf nuzzled it, then turned back to Maple, her golden eyes full of silent gratitude.

As the wolves disappeared into the trees, the snowstorm eased. A path home appeared, glowing softly under the moonlight. Maple smiled, knowing she had done the right thing.
