It started with a simple garage sale. James wasn’t looking for anything in particular, just something vintage to add to his collection. Among dusty books and scratched vinyl, he found an old cassette labeled in shaky handwriting: "For Whoever Finds This." He bought it for a dollar, not knowing it would change his life forever.
That night, curiosity won. He inserted the tape into his player and pressed play. A distorted voice crackled through the speakers.
"James, if you're hearing this, I need you to listen carefully. The next few days will test you. The woman in red—don’t trust her. The bridge—don’t cross it. And whatever you do, don’t answer the phone at exactly 3:17 AM."
James felt a chill crawl down his spine. It had to be a prank. But then, the woman in red appeared at his office the next morning, smiling like she knew his secrets. His best friend begged him to meet at the old bridge that evening. And at 3:17 AM, his phone rang.
The voice on the other end was his own, whispering, "Run."
He barely had time to process it before the door creaked open, and the nightmare truly began.
