Deep in the heart of Starwood Forest, the night sky glowed with a silver shimmer—until one evening when the moonlight simply vanished. The stars twinkled, but without the moon, everything felt strange and dim. Luna the owl, known for her wisdom, hooted in concern. "Something is terribly wrong," she said, her golden eyes wide.
Felix the fox, always eager for an adventure, flicked his tail. "Then let’s find the moonlight and bring it back!" he declared.
Their journey took them to the Whispering River, where the fish whispered rumors of a mischievous wind that had blown the moon’s glow into the Dark Hollow. Luna and Felix hurried through the tangled trees, their hearts pounding. As they entered the Hollow, they spotted a shimmering glow trapped inside a crystal cage, guarded by a grumpy old bat named Grimley.
"That light doesn’t belong to you," Luna said firmly.
Grimley sighed. "I was tired of the moon making the night too bright. I just wanted some peace."
"But without moonlight, the whole forest is lost," Felix explained.
Grimley hesitated. He had never thought of it that way. After a long pause, he flapped his wings and unlatched the cage. Instantly, the glow soared into the sky, and the moon shone bright once more.
The forest cheered, and Grimley, feeling the warmth of their gratitude, realized that a little light wasn’t so bad after all.
