The Tiny Baker and the Cookie Crisis

Deep in the roots of an old oak tree, Tilly the Tiny Baker ran the best cookie shop in the forest. She baked warm chocolate chip cookies, sweet cinnamon rolls, and the fluffiest cupcakes. Animals from all over lined up outside her little bakery each morning.

One day, when Tilly went to make her famous honey-butter cookies, she gasped. Her secret ingredient—golden honey—was missing!

She searched every cupboard and shelf. "It was right here!" she told her best friend, Oliver the squirrel. "Who could’ve taken it?"

Just then, she noticed tiny footprints dusted in flour. Mouse prints!

Tilly and Oliver followed the tracks outside. Near the riverbank, they spotted a little brown mouse licking honey from his paws.

"You took my honey!" Tilly said, crossing her arms.

The mouse, named Jasper, looked guilty. "I’m sorry," he squeaked. "I needed it for my sick grandmother. Honey helps her feel better."

Tilly’s anger melted. "Why didn’t you just ask?"

"I was afraid you’d say no," Jasper admitted.

Tilly smiled. "I would never say no to helping someone in need!"

She filled a small jar with more honey and handed it to Jasper. "For your grandma. And next time, just ask!"

Jasper beamed. In return, he helped Tilly gather more honey from the beehive on the hill. From that day on, they worked together—Jasper delivering honey, and Tilly baking the most delicious cookies in the forest.

And of course, every cookie was made with kindness.
